The councilor of Cambiemos Murcia Nacho Tornel has criticized the "lack of foresight" of the local government in the works of the second phase of the North Coast, inaugurated in July 2016 and which today has accumulated "serious deficiencies" related to accessibility and The safety of pedestrians.
Tornel has pointed out that one of the most serious problems is that the bike lane, which is built on a plot of land belonging to the Commonwealth of Taibilla Channels (MCT), is interrupted midway by the presence of three valves. Prevents the continuity of this vial.

For the mayor, all this responds to the "eagerness to inaugurate" the PP Governments, which have led to "create connection problems where there were none" in the North Coast.

He also explained that he is not worth the argument that the works were accelerated by the urgency of solving the traffic problems.
