The project, awarded by the Government Board with a term of execution of six months, will end the floods caused by torrential avenues in the section between the House Pelada and the Riquelme Station |
The Department of Development, led by Roque Ortiz, will end the problems of drainage detected in certain stretches of the Carretera de Sucina, especially from Casa Pelada to Riquelme Station, on the Rambla Borrambla, in Gea and Truyols.
The work, which will be invested 84,113 euros, is expected to be completed within six months.
So far, the torrential floods that the area suffers as a result of heavy rains affect the route of the road, causing flooding and trawling of farmland, and even leaving some points of the road out of service.
The intervention to be carried out by the Department of Development consists of the execution of the transverse drainage works of the road of Sucina (Antigua RM-F-19) in its intersection with the rambla called "Borrambla".
At present, the road in question has sections with lanes of 3.00-3.50 meters and areas where the shoulders have disappeared or these have dimensions between 0.50 and 1.00 meters.
Along its path, the road is crossed by several ramblas, which is why it is necessary to carry out transverse drainage works, modifying the road gradient and installing a concrete tube of 1.20 meters in diameter.
The action will be carried out by Hydraulics and Fraguados Oyco.
