The councilor of the Municipal Socialist Group, Enrique Ayuso, has demanded again on Friday the government of Ballesta "to manage the elimination of the tension towers that invade a sidewalk in La Arboleja," adding that "in the XXI century it is incredible that A city council allows the placement of towers of this type in the middle of a sidewalk and, in addition, to few meters of a protected environment ".
In this sense, Ayuso has reminded that, near these towers and the wiring that they carry, is the Windmill of Love and, to few meters, the walk of the Malecón "a BIC environment that must be taken care of and protected, and not allow To install electrical towers whose cables could be perfectly buried so as not to demean the environment or obstruct the passage of neighbors.
Both the Municipal Board of La Arboleja and the Plenum of the City of Murcia last March (at the proposal of PSOE, Citizens, Now Murcia and Cambiemos Murcia), have approved the dismantling of the towers in question.
Specifically, in the motion approved in the municipal plenary, the government team is urged to "take all necessary steps, immediately, for the dismantling of the towers that are currently half-installed in the area, in order to Leave the sidewalk clear of obstacles ".
It also requested that municipal technicians "seek the appropriate solution to this problem without harming third parties and in compliance with current urban regulations."
"We demand the City of Murcia to make excuses, to comply with the agreements approved and to put all the means at their disposal so that the electric cables that serve the area can be overrun and, in this way, the two towers can be dismantled And thus protect an environment of interest for all, "concluded the mayor.
