The activities of the second edition of the Manuscript Letter continue at the University of Murcia.
The activity is part of the cycle "Cultural logographies" by Deletreartes, organized by the Culture Service of the University of Murcia.
A dramatized reading of Ovid's "Las Heroidas" by the traveling company DeLetreArtes, under the direction of María Rodríguez Alonso, stands out for the day of Thursday, April 27th.
It will be in the Concha Lavella Theater Hall, Campus de la Merced, at 20:30 hours.
"Las Heroidas" or "Letters of Heroines" is an elegiac poem written by Ovid and composed of 21 letters of love directed by female characters of mythology and literature to their loved ones.
The reading comes on the two thousandth anniversary of the death of the Latin writer.
The schedule of the rest of activities is as follows:
- From 5 pm to 6 pm: Reading of letters by the students: Yolanda Ruano, Antonio Alcazar, Fructuoso Atencia and José Antonio Cortés
- From 6 pm to 7 pm: "The letter and the end of the century".
Writer: José Cantabella and Sagrario Ruíz.
- From 19:30 to 20:30 h .: "The letter at the point of the language", by Miguel Angel Puche.
