The Department of Employment, Tourism and Culture, continues to combine innovation with tradition in the festivals of Murcia.
In collaboration with the various festive groups, such as the Sardinera Group, the Federación de Peñas Huertanas and the organizers of the Tunas Costa Cálida Contest, the City Council has introduced different innovations in the Spring Festival of 2017.
Thus, the Burial of the Sardine will be the first time thematized with winks to the five continents.
In addition, the Sardinera Association will offer on Friday, April 21, four performances of dance schools in different places.
The same Friday, in the parade of the Testament of the Sardine, will incorporate for the first time a carriage with the current Sardina Dove and the previous ones and another with the Big Fish current and previous.
Bando de la Huerta varies this year the zone of concentration of the participants and will extend the route since the parade will depart from the Mozart Street.
