The Government Board has given the green light to the Staff Training Plan of the City of Murcia for the year 2017.

This is intended to facilitate the constant updating of municipal staff and to promote the skills of public employees, taking into account the training needs that have been communicated by the various municipal services, by completing questionnaires for the collection of information prepared for this purpose, as well as through Personal interviews

In total 48 training activities are offered, which can be accessed by all municipal officials free of charge.

In addition to training courses in information and communication technologies, skills, communication and citizen care, and training in prevention of occupational hazards, the required and particular qualification of each job will be taken care of, not forgetting the individual needs each.

This includes specialized technical training courses for Local Police, Children's Schools, SIX, Health, Social Services, Sports, Environment, etc.

This Training Plan is an open and flexible plan that will include those training actions that due to the needs of the service or for other reasons deemed appropriate or necessary to carry out.

In addition to achieving the improvement of professional skills and qualifications, this plan seeks to provide an increase in the motivation and professional promotion of municipal employees.

As far as possible, and as long as the characteristics of the training so permit, it will be tried that the modality of training is online, taking into account its flexibility and adaptation to the needs of the students, facilitating the training and allowing to reconcile the Work and family life.

The elaboration and implementation of this Training Plan has been possible thanks to the collaboration of the heads of the different municipal services, as well as the public employees of the Local Administration.

All requests for attendance at training courses will be submitted electronically, through the municipal Intranet.
