The Mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, accompanied by the Councilor for Modernization, Urban Quality and Participation, José Guillén, met today with the members of the Negotiating Table, to thank them for their work in the preparation of the first List of Jobs RPT) of the City of Murcia, a document for municipal transparency and efficient management of public resources that was approved at the Governing Board that was held previously in City Hall.

The first municipal organization charts a total of 3,164 jobs distributed in 57 municipal services.

"The TOR is the basis on which the entire staff structure of the City Council is built, a tool for optimizing public resources and improving care for Murcia's neighbors," explained the mayor.

Local Police, the municipal service with more workers

The municipal service that brings together a larger number of workers is the Local Police, followed by the Fire Extinguishment and Rescue Service and, thirdly, Culture.

The largest professional category is Local Police Agent, followed by Ordinance and Administrative Assistant.

Process of extension and continuous improvement

The next step will be the creation of Efficiency Boards together with the representatives of the workers, who will study, service by service, personnel needs, to achieve a better redistribution of the municipal staff and thus provide a better service to Murcia.
