The Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesús Pacheco, attended this morning the presentation of the catafalque of the Burial of the Sardine, which will begin to be installed next Wednesday night in the Martinez Tornel Plaza.
In this edition, a tribute was paid to the president of the Sardinera Group, Gregorio González, who will leave his post this year.
In this way the catafalque, approximately 14 meters high, is formed by a sardine, which for the first time is golden in color, on which is a whistle and which is accompanied by seven smaller sardines and a sardine that represents The figure of Gonzalez.
The catafalco, created by Zigurat, is made of cardboard while the inner body is made of wood and polyethylene.
