The community ecological orchard that has the University of Murcia (UMU) on the campus of Espinardo, with an area of ​​250 square meters, has started the planting season.
The orchard is located next to the parking lot of the Faculty of Medicine, and is promoted by the Vice-rectorate of Economy, Sustainability and Health Sciences.
The decision on what is going to be planted, the distribution of the tasks of care and the maintenance of the same are agreed collectively.
On the other hand, the UMU will hold a tree planting in the north of the same campus tomorrow, April 6.
For this, a meeting is planned at the Plaza de la Sostenibilidad, at 10:00 am, from where it will be able to travel in an electric gua-gua to the site of the plantation.
