The Councilor for Trade and Institutional Relations, Maruja Pelegrín, and the Traffic and Citizen Security, Lola Sánchez, have held this morning a meeting with neighbors and merchants of the neighborhood of El Carmen in which they have shown their disagreement by the traffic restriction Of the Old Bridge on Sundays.
Also the merchants have indicated that "representatives of political parties have contacted us but always ensuring that there would be passage for vehicles another alternative."
The councilors have explained that "they have used the name of the merchants lying since they have always asked for a previous study and that there would be alternative step while in the motion approved by PSOE, Citizens and Now Murcia does not appear any of that."
Pelegrín and Sanchez have again denounced that this measure would "marginalize the Carmen district, preventing access to the historic center and harming trade."
