The Murcia Acoge Association will receive a grant of 100,000 euros to serve 30 people convalescent immigrants in two shelters to contribute to their integration and care.
The Board of Governors today approved this file, promoted by the Council of Social Rights, whose priority is to care for people, without a home in which to carry out the necessary convalescence and treatment and without social support networks to help them meet This need.
This line of collaboration of the City Council with the Association Murcia Acoge allows to respond to the social and health needs of immigrants through two shelters, with capacity to serve 30 people annually.
In this way, it is possible to provide accommodation and support to the people who are welcomed, in the case of women, with or without family responsibilities, at the same time as providing the integral and individual care of each one of them, Medical and / or psychological recovery.
The agreement also includes the realization of training and learning workshops and a follow up after the cessation of the reception, orienting it to the social insertion.
