The Equality Plan of the City of Murcia, the participation of young people in the future of the city and the Operative Plan for Tourism are some of the key issues that will be addressed at the Second Day of Neighborhood Participation, to be held next Tuesday, April 4, at the Almudí Palace.
As it happened in the first edition, the call for this event responds to two priority objectives: "To be accountable to the Murcia and to give them a voice so that they can send their proposals, complaints or suggestions directly, face to face and without intermediaries," The mayor said during the presentation of the day.

Program of the Day
The doors of the Almudí will open at 9:00 am, when the presentation of the Plan of Interactive Cities will be carried out, an initiative that seeks to promote relations between people and public administrations, through social networks.
Half an hour later the mayor will preside over the meeting of the Social Council of the City - the body of social participation of an advisory nature composed of representatives of the economic, social, professional organizations and of most representative neighbors of Murcia.
Among the issues to be addressed is the presentation of the draft budgets for 2017 and the report on the situation in which the strategic projects of the city are set out by the City Council - San Esteban, Old Cárcel, bike lanes, Murcia River , etc.
It will also present the portal 'Murcia en Cifras' and the Operative Plan for Tourism, as well as the exhibition of the new intervention model in neighborhoods.
Agreements with women's centers
Starting at 12 noon, two work tables will be convened with a wide participation in the neighborhood.
On the one hand, the presentation of the Equality Plan promoted by the Department of Social Rights and the signing of collaboration agreements with associations of women's centers in the municipality;
On the other hand, the assistance of young people from neighborhoods and districts is expected in an appointment prepared to listen to their opinions and suggestions for the future of the city.
The morning will conclude with the presentation of the Electronic Administration Platform and the Operational Plan for Tourism, for which the social agents involved have been summoned, from the Congress Office to travel agencies, hotels, restaurants, etc.
As happened in the participation day that took place last year, in the afternoon will be a face-to-face of the Government Team with the neighbors, who will have the opportunity to conduct direct interviews with their representatives.
