The Draft Budgets prepared by the Government Team for 2017 reflect the commitment of the City Council to ensure accessibility to all municipal buildings.
This responsibility is reflected in the incorporation of sufficient funding to continue making progress in this regard.
On the other hand, it should be remembered that the City Council, through the Department of Social Rights, is working with CERMI in the elaboration of a Universal Accessibility Plan that contemplates priorities, deadlines and budget to be "realistic and executable" and not a mere statement of intents.
In this sense, a motor group formed by technical staff from the different municipal areas was created to elaborate a proposal that has a cross-cutting nature, thus involving representatives of public road services, parks and gardens, decentralization, new technologies, tourism, Culture, urbanism, education, heritage, cooperation, sports, traffic and promotion, as well as members of the Department of Social Rights.
