The University of Murcia (UMU) School of Tourism has held the III Conference on Management and Organization of Events, in which a presentation on "Events and Sustainability" has been presented.
This presentation was presented by the manager of Marevents, Maria del Mar Abenza, who stressed the importance of organizing sustainable activities that help minimize negative impacts on the environment and, at the same time, guarantee the perfect functioning Of all those involved in the realization of them.
For Abenza, "when we talk about sustainability, we do it in the broadest sense, because, in the end, what is intended is to guarantee the welfare of all."
The rapporteur has also made a tour of all the necessary steps so that the preparation of an activity meets the objectives.
