Agents of the National Police have arrested a person of Spanish nationality and 47 years of age as alleged perpetrator of seven crimes of robbery in establishments.
At the beginning of this month of March, the Judicial Police Group of the District Commissariat of San Andrés noticed an increase in robberies in the center of the capital, mainly for catering purposes: bars, restaurants, confectioneries , Local cups, although also occurred on kiosks, gyms and shoe stores.
The way to access these premises was the same: forcing the access door.
The thief carried them out in the same time zone, using nocturnal or early hours to perpetrate robberies.
The investigation carried out by agents of the National Police allowed to collect vestiges of the criminal and images, collected by private security cameras, in which the same person appeared with the same clothing.
The thief took not only cash but also groceries such as hams and roe, which offered him many benefits by marketing them later.
All police investigations led to the same individual, an acquaintance of investigators who was arrested last year for acts of the same nature that occurred between October and November and for which he was imprisoned during the month of December.
After being released and, in January and February, he allegedly committed a number of robberies for which he has now been arrested.
Since his arrest, it has been perceptible the decline of robberies with force in establishments and the decrease of the social alarm created in this guild.
The investigation has been developed by agents of the National Police belonging to the Higher Police Headquarters of the Region of Murcia through its District Commissary in San Andrés.
