On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the International Competition of Tunas Costa Cálida, the organization of the same has decided to award the job of town councilor to the Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Culture of the City of Murcia, Jesús Pacheco.
Together with him he will also receive the distinction of Grand Master the Spanish Association against Cancer, and in his name will do the president of his Provincial Board in Murcia, Agustín Navarrete.
These charges join the already announced madrina, which has fallen this year on 7TV journalist, Marta Garcia.
The three will be officially named at the Opening Gala of the competition to be held on April 17 at the Teatro Romea and, on this occasion, will have solidarity.
After the inauguration of the Contest will be held between April 19 and 21 in the Pergola of the Gardens of San Basilio where four tunas come from all over Spain and four others from outside the national territory will compete for the Best Tuna prize.
