The Governing Board has approved the approval of the project of improvements of green areas in the neighborhood Infante Juan Manuel and the request to the Service of Employment and Training of labor subsidy.

In this way, the unemployed will be hired to work in the rehabilitation of five green spaces in the neighborhood: Garden in Calle Pintor Rosique, Plaza de la Enseñanza, Avenida San Juan de la Cruz, Garden in Doctor Manuel Serrano Street and Plaza San Benito.

Thus, the necessary repairs will be carried out to condition, adapt and renovate the children's spaces, pavements, corks and other elements that make up these green areas.

Specifically, the works will consist of the removal of existing games, the installation of new ones and the remodeling of those that can be reused, areas in which will be placed impact-absorbing tile and approved billboards.

Likewise, flower beds will be created, fences and salvaparterres will be installed and the land of albero and zahorras will be extended, as well as the laying of new curbs and the execution of reinforced concrete hearth.

In the avenue Infante Juan Manuel will elevate the height of the existing parterres so that you can place ornamental plants that give a new image to this central avenue.

The design of the different actions will aim to improve accessibility, safety and generate uses for all ages, as well as a reduction of maintenance costs and improvement in the adornment.

The budget for the execution of the work is set at 453,403'08 euros, of which a subsidy has been requested to the Employment and Training Service of 229,132 euros.

The works will be done by 3 masons, 15 masonry officers and 3 gardening officers within six months.

It should be remembered that last week the Governing Board approved the complete renovation of lighting in the neighborhood Infante don Juan Manuel with the installation of 278 luminaires with LED technology that adds to these performances.
