The Councilor for Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, José Guillén, spoke this morning in the presentation of the theoretical framework of 'Digital Competencies of the Public Employee of CARM', developed by the Ministry of Education and Universities, the City Council of Murcia, the Foundation for Health Training and Research, the Integra Foundation and the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration, represented by the School of Training and Innovation of Public Administration,
This project is part of the proposals that this working group is proposing to the administration to open new channels of communication with staff, to achieve greater and better dissemination of training actions and aspects related to training and innovation and to improve skills Digital professional public employee staff.
This theoretical framework aims to define the digital competences that the public employee should acquire through training, establishing a framework adapted to their peculiarities.
In his speech José Guillén stressed that "one of the objectives of the Government Team of Murcia City is to provide municipal employees with training and resources to develop the digital skills that are key to the provision of services that citizens demand In the Information and Knowledge Society ".
The councilman explained that "the City of Murcia, from its Department of Training and Selection of Personnel Service, organizes every year a set of training actions in the area of ​​Information Technology and Communications, which offers all Municipal employees ".
Thus, in the year 2016, 9 training courses in the areas of digital competences have been carried out in the modalities of presential and semi-presential training.
These activities have entailed 186 hours of training and a total of 1,893 employees of the City of Murcia participated.
