The councilor of Cambiemos Murcia, Margarita Guerrero, today denounced the "inefficiency" of the Commission for the location of the Sellers of San Esteban and the "irresponsible" attitude of the Government team, which has said that "uses" this space as Excuse to "buy time" and the market continues to deteriorate.
Guerrero has indicated that since the creation of the Commission, more than a year and a half ago, the only thing that has been generated is a regulation of three pages for a market "that does not yet know where it is going to be located" because the PP Bets on the real integration of the same within its model of city.
Faced with the unproductivity of the Commission, the mayor has proposed to convene a joint meeting of its members with all the affected merchants in order to know the possible alternatives to find a solution.
"It does not make sense to continue the dynamic that has brought us here," he said.
In addition, Guerrero recalled that the problem of sellers originated when the City decided to move the booths to the BIC environment of El Malecón as a temporary measure that already lasts more than eight years.
Since then, the number of sellers has been reduced from half a hundred to about 20.
Therefore, "time is an important factor in the existence of this market," he concluded.
