The UCAM again breaks brands in the Championships of Spain University.
Up to ten final phases will be organized by the Catholic University.
It is a new record for the institution, which had never organized so many tests in a year and placed it at the forefront of Spanish universities in organizational capacity.
More than 2,000 athletes from universities across Spain will participate in these competitions, offering added value from the tourist and economic point of view since most of the tests take place between the end of April and throughout the month of May.
This year will be very present the Jubilee Year of Caravaca as all competitors, referees and judges will be given promotional material on the Holy Year 2017 motivating them to return to the Region in the coming months to win the Jubilee.
Another strong point is the fact that the ten Spanish University Championships organized by the UCAM are divided between six different municipalities: Murcia (karate and swimming), Cartagena (athletics, badminton and table tennis), Los Alcázares (basketball and volleyball) , Caravaca de la Cruz (cross-country), San Pedro del Pinatar (triathlon) and San Javier (beach volleyball).
New challenges for UCAM, which wants to repeat another year at the forefront of the national college sports medal.
For this, and as an extra incentive for fans, will count on some of the competitions with its Olympic students.
Among others, will participate the swimmers Mireia Belmonte and Jessica Vall, the athletes Miguel Angel Lopez, Borja Vivas or Ruth Beitia or the karateka Damián Quintero.
A luxury team to represent the University that most supports sport in Spain, a university that is a leader winning medals but also organizing sports competitions.
