The Government Board has approved the project and specifications to contract the work of lighting the river Segura River in its urban section, between the catwalks of Manterola and La Fica, coinciding with the construction of the bike lane that is already running .
The lighting will consist of the installation of 155 low power LED projectors (only 10 W.) that will lightly illuminate the walls of the river bed in such a way that it is possible to travel safely on the bike lane but does not affect the Fauna or the flora of the river banks.
In addition, 141 programmable color projectors will be installed in the simulated columns of the wall, with 7º of light beam opening, with which a vertical light line of the approximate width of the column will be obtained.
These projectors will allow games of colors and will be coordinated with the illumination of the same type that already exists in the catwalk of Manterola.
In addition, the project includes the renovation of existing ornamental lighting in Puente Viejo and Los Molinos del Río.
The total installed capacity is 17,480 W., corresponding to 15,930 W to ornamental lighting and 1,550 W. to the lighting of the roads.
The interdistance between the points for both public lighting and ornamental lighting will be approximately 20 meters while the height of the installation will be variable as it will depend on the height of the wall and will have a unilateral layout.
The budget amounts to 237,000 euros and the execution period is four months.
