On International Women's Day, the UCAM rector, Josefina García Lozano, has emphasized the importance of being competitive people, women who show their effort every day and can be valued regardless of the gender to which they belong.

She also recalled that in her professional career she has never felt any discrimination because of her status as a woman, since she is in an institution where most of the senior positions are held by women.

One of the seven rectors who occupy this post in Spanish universities has made these statements in a cultural reception to more than 60 women from different associations of the population of Blanca.
