The Language Service of the University of Murcia has recently received 18 books and 30 booklets of Japanese material donated by the Japan Foundation of Madrid.
Soon they will be available in the teachers room of the building Saavedra Fajardo of the UMU for teachers and students who request them through the Japanese teacher, Michiko Akaboschi.
The Japan Foundation of Madrid is the organizer of the Official Exam of Japanese Language Level and also promoter of Japanese cultural activities throughout Spain.
Following the study of surveys carried out between different centers throughout Spain, the Language Service of the University of Murcia has been selected as one of the beneficiaries of this program.
Among the 18 materials are textbooks of different levels and exercise books, as well as booklets of Japanese writing, CDs, etc.
Founded in 1972, the Japan Foundation, its mission is to promote international cultural exchange and mutual understanding between Japan and other countries of the world, developing Art, culture, Japanese language education, and studies about Japan.
Its headquarters is in Tokyo, and its network operates in 23 countries.
