The Campus of Los Jerónimos of UCAM will host, this Thursday and Friday, the III International Congress of Art, Architecture and Heritage-Space and Landscape 'Homage to Siza', organized by the Degree in Architecture of the Catholic University of Murcia and the Chair International of the Arts 'Cristóbal Gabarrón'.
The international congress, which this year is in homage to Álvaro Siza, will feature the presence of the Portuguese architect, who will inaugurate the exhibition in his honor with models, photographs and original drawings of the master.
For his part, the sculptor Luis Chillida will speak about artistic interventions and landscape, while Inés Sérvulo, Policy Officier Cultural Diversity and Innovation Unit, will analyze the role of culture and young people for a new European narrative.
In this conference will participate experts in the field as Cristóbal Gabarrón, president of the Foundation that bears his name;
Rafael Pardo of the Official College of Architects of Murcia, Juan Roldán, degree director of Architecture of the UCAM, or Antonio Clemente, technician of the CARM expert in landscape, who through six papers will talk about: culture and youth in the European narrative, art in Europe, transcendence of space or on the Gabarrón Center of Artistic Creation for Mule, among other topics.
In addition, the exhibition Homage to Siza will be shown with models of models, photographs and original drawings of the master Álvaro Siza that is installed in the Almudí Palace.
There will also be the presentation of the project 'House for an artist', also work of this author.
