The University of Murcia (UMU) has organized several activities within its collaboration in the Week of the Orchard of Murcia, which promotes the City Council of the municipality.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, Carlos Montes del Olmo Professor of Ecology at the Autonomous University of Madrid will address a conference on the sustainability of cities based on their resilience.
The students of the Masters in Protected Areas, Natural Resources and Biodiversity of the UMU will present on Wednesday, March 8, the results of the work they have done on the different proposals for Murcia Río.
Both events will be held at 6:00 pm in the Moneo building in the Murcian capital.
On Saturday, March 11, the UMU will participate in the Biodiversity Fair cultivated with the elaboration of a cartography of the orchard of Murcia, an activity organized by the areas of Botany and Ecology of the educational institution.
The Fair will take place in the gardens of the Malecón, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
