More than a hundred people participated yesterday in a journey of coexistence to Valle Perdido organized by the Platform for Assistance to the Refugee, with the collaboration of the scout group of the Barrio del Carmen and the City of Murcia, which, through the Department of Social Rights, led by Conchita Ruiz, facilitated transportation to attend the activity.
The day, which lasted for about seven hours, included the realization of a hiking route and participation in various traditional games.
The celebration of this coexistence was intended to promote the social integration of refugees in Murcia through a playful approach and knowledge of the natural environment close to the city.
At the same time, initiatives such as this outing facilitate the social interaction of refugees with each other and the creation of support and support networks between them.
On the other hand, they also influence the learning of Spanish in non-formal environments and create an approach of the different cultures of all the participants.
