The UCAM Symphony Orchestra and the Discantus Choir, directed by Angel L. Carrillo, perform with the soprano Cristina Toledo on Sunday, March 5 at the Teatro Romea in Murcia at 12 o'clock in the morning on the occasion of the proclamation of the Murcia Holy Week, which will have as crier the chaplain of the Catholic University Luis Emilio Pascual.

Coral Discantus will perform before the audience a selection of The Passion according to St. Matthew, by Bach, and a selection of the oratorio Jesus of Nazareth, as well as processional marches.

The choir will also participate with sacred music in various processions of Holy Week in Murcia, specifically in the two of Holy Tuesday (Rescue and Health) and Holy Thursday (Refugio).

We remember that Angel Carrillo was named Honorary Mayordomo by El Cabildo Superior de Cofradías.
