Nutrition and the importance of rest have been some of the topics that have been addressed in the second day of the IV International Congress on Prevention of Sports Injuries that is being held at UCAM.

Many of the world's leading experts in the field have emphasized the need to plan well for the physical work of young people so as not to expose them to the danger of overtraining, which can lead to serious injuries.

In the context of nutrition and physical activity, Santiago Felipe Gómez, program manager of the Gasol Foundation, has warned about a problem characteristic of the so-called First World: "We are experiencing an epidemic of childhood obesity both here in Spain and in states We are summarized in four areas: food, physical activity, quality of rest and psychological factors.
