The Council of Social Rights has organized a community Carnival activity on Saturday, from 10.30 to 13.30 hours in the Silk Garden, which is part of the programming of the Children's Activities Project (PAI) that is carried out in 34 points of the Municipality, three cyber-books and the Urban project of Espinardo, attending annually about 1,400 minors.
Throughout the morning, the children will participate in this party in which they have chosen, as a common theme, the different cultures and nationalities of the world.
This activity, which will be followed by different activities such as musical performances, is being prepared since mid-February, with the making of the costumes elaborated by the participants themselves.
In addition, two local artists of the Municipal Office of Grafiti, dependent on the Department of Development and Ferrovial Services, will perform live a decoration at the carnival party so that the little ones can be photographed.
The Department of Social Rights, directed by Conchita Ruiz Caballero, carries out leisure and leisure projects with children and adolescents in different neighborhoods and districts of the municipality, aimed at the promotion and social integration of minors.
The objective is to prevent and detect situations of risk or social exclusion through an adequate annual programming of activities adapted to their needs and with contents of work in education in values ​​and of protagonism and participation of children.
