The City of Murcia continues to bet on electric vehicles in order to contribute to the improvement of air quality and the environment.
Now, the Parks and Gardens Service, which is part of the Department of Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, led by José Guillén, has expanded the electric vehicle fleet of the City Council.
These new vehicles, which do not emit polluting gases and barely emit noises, are recharged at the facilities of the concession company, STV Gestión, at night time.
Its autonomy is between 80 and 100 kilometers.
Councilor for Modernization, Urban Quality and Participation, José Guillén, explained that "in this way, we continue to work on turning Muria into a smart city and contributing to the reduction of global warming, thus avoiding the contamination that is caused by having to be starting And stopping a vehicle in a continuous way in the numerous tasks that are carried out in the green areas of the municipality.
In addition, Guillén explains, "a bet also by the companies from Murcia that are innovating and reinforcing their ecological values ​​since some of these vehicles are from a firm in the Region."
This new acquisition is in addition to those made four years ago by the STV Gestión dealership, which has been increasing its number of green vehicles.
