The Spanish Agency of Consumption, Food Safety and Nutrition (AECOSAN) has chosen Professor Gaspar Ros, dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Murcia, president of the Food Safety and Nutrition Section of its Scientific Committee.
This is the risk assessment body responsible for providing the Agency with scientific advice, as well as defining and coordinating the research work it needs.
The section headed by Professor Ros is composed of 20 members of renowned scientific competence in fields related to food security and nutrition.
