The Department of Traffic, Safety and Citizen Protection, directed by Lola Sánchez, is executing the road remarking works on large avenues in Murcia.
Thus, during the past weeks the works have been carried out, according to the established schedule, in the avenues Ciudad de Almería, Floridablanca, Princesa, Plano de San Francisco, Miguel de Cervantes, Avenida de los Pinos, Mariano Rojas, Spanish Marina, Almirante Loaysa , Jorge Palacios and Infante Juan Manuel.
The repainting has already begun on May Day, Avenue de La Fama and Ronda Sur and in the coming weeks will be held in the Gran Via, Avenue Constitution, Plaza Ceballos, Isidoro de la Cierva, Alejandro Séiquer and Ronda de Levante.
In this program it is planned that the marking on the most central thoroughfares of the municipality will end before Easter and Spring Festivals.
The works follow the guidelines marked in draft by the Traffic Service, and contemplate both the replacement and execution of new signaling elements, important for the maintenance of the safety conditions in the circulation of our roads, being elements subject to wear by Circulation and inclement weather.
The execution time of the works, in which has been invested 92,517.62 euros, is two months and work is being carried out from Sunday to Thursday, to interfere as little as possible in traffic and cause minor inconvenience to neighbors .
