The Grafiti Municipal Office, a subsidiary of the Department of Development, directed by Roque Ortiz, continues to work to improve the appearance of the municipality.
Thus, technicians of the council and members of the concessionaire Ferrovial Services have held a meeting with representatives of the General Directorate of Cultural Property of the Autonomous Community to study different activities of cleaning graffiti in buildings that are historical heritage of the city.
In particular, we have studied the case of vandalic graffiti located in Soportales de Catedral and Convent de las Claras, among others.
In this way it is sought to be able to act more quickly in the case of graffiti made in protected buildings.
It should be remembered that last year we obtained the authorization of the Directorate General of Cultural Property, to clean buildings that are in environments of Cultural Interest.
Councilor Roque Ortiz has explained that "one of our priorities is to act in listed buildings since we can not accept that areas of maximum interest show painted."
