The Luis Vives building of the University of Murcia (UMU), on the campus of Espinardo, hosts today and tomorrow a conference on the Shared Housing Program with People with Intellectual Disabilities, the Down Syndrome Foundation of the Region.
The conference will show how the coexistence of UMU volunteers with people with intellectual disabilities, in addition to promoting their autonomy, is an experience of mutual understanding and teaching.
The collaboration of the University of Murcia in the project of shared housing is managed through its Service of Diversity and Volunteer Service (ADyV), dependent on the Vicerrectorado de Estudiantes.
