ASTEAMUR brings again the high cuisine of solidarity to the city in the V edition of GastroTEA with the participation of 3 Michelin star chef Joan Roca.
The La Casa de la Luz Restaurant will host the charity gala dinner for 300 diners tonight with a menu designed and cooked specifically for the event
The 5th edition of the solidarity day of gourmet cuisine GastroTEA has lit its stoves this morning at the Teatro Circo by the hand of the 3 Michelin-star chef, Joan Roca, with the assistance of more than 800 people.
The benefits will go entirely to the financing of a new center for early care and disability specific autism in Murcia.
The event, presented this morning by the Councilor for Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz Caballero, and the president of Asteamur, Nani Martinez de Haro, and has had the participation of chefs Diego Gallegos and pablo Gonzalez Conejero, has as main objective, Promote awareness in society about autism, a disorder that affects more and more children.
Ruiz Caballero said that "for the City of Murcia is very important this year, because it has as a clear challenge, the equipment of a specific early warning center for children with autism in Murcia."
And for this, has indicated the holder of Social Rights, we must "raise awareness and sensitize the population of the importance of normalizing and fully integrate children with this problem disorder."

The evening will be held at the School of Hospitality and Tourism of Murcia 'La Flota', where Joan Roca will offer a kitchen workshop exclusively for children of ASTEAMUR.
Lastly, La Casa de la Luz Restaurant will host the charity gala dinner for 300 diners with a menu designed and cooked specifically for GastroTEA by Joan Roca and his team at El Celeer de Roca, preceded by a cocktail made by AMURECO cooks .
