The National Company of Classical Theater will occupy tomorrow Saturday and Sunday the Theater Romea to interpret 'the dog of the hortelano', under the direction of Helena Pimenta.

Written by Lope de Vega between 1613 and 1615, 'El perro del hortelano' is a unique comedy, with a great personality, which stands out for the construction of the characters, for the beauty of their parliaments, as well as for the originality of its structure. Tells a story apparently simple, that of a woman, Diana, Countess of Belflor, who falls in love with a humble man, his secretary Theodore. "

Pimenta describes the work as "beautiful, tender, funny, dark, luminous, vibrant, gross, sad, cheerful, aristocratic and popular, this comedy catches us from the first moment when we see that woman, Diana, struggling awkwardly to leave the Prison of gold in which it has been locked up "

After the stay in the theater of the Comedy of Madrid, 'El perro del hortelano' is on a national tour, visiting La Coruña, and moving after Murcia to Seville, Logroño, Valencia, Pamplona, â€‹â€‹Palma de Mallorca and Almagro.

The Saturday morning pass will begin at 9pm, while the Sunday morning will take place at 7pm.
