Technicians from the Department of Social Rights have begun a training course to make administrative information accessible to people with difficult reading comprehension.
The first session of the course, which was attended by Councilor for Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz Caballero, was given by a technician of the association Plena Inclusion, which is in charge of developing these courses.
The theoretical course, divided into two sessions of 3 hours each, consists of a method of adaptation and writing of materials, illustrations and content to bring information to people with these difficulties.
This first edition is aimed at professionals involved in the realization of materials for the dissemination of activities carried out by the City of Murcia, such as brochures, website content and other materials.
This initiative is one of the demands raised by Disability entities within the Municipal Board of Disability and are part of the Universal Accessibility Plan of the City of Murcia, which is being worked on.
