The Governing Board has given green light to the list of administrative clauses for the renovation of the pavement of the central court of the Sports Palace.
The replacement of the floor of the sports facility is necessary due to the intensive use that has been made in the last 22 years, which has been held on a continuous basis hundreds of matches in the highest category of the disciplines of football and basketball, With the participation of elite teams such as El Pozo Murcia and UCAM Murcia, who play in both national and European leagues.
The new pavement, for which the City of Murcia has allocated a budget of 130,000 euros, meets the requirements established by the various competition bodies (FIBA, ACB, LNFS, ASOBAL, etc.), whose main characteristics are:
- Removable sports floor system for high competition.
- Low height with a total thickness of 40 mm on the supporting hearth.
- Placement system with heavy duty track pads with shock absorbing pads, offering the maximum performance for high impact sports, guaranteeing an adequate rebound of the ball.
- Solid beechwood dried in a 22 mm thick press.
