The city will release a new lighting in the big parties from this year.

To this end, the Department of Employment, Tourism and Culture, headed by Jesús Pacheco, will count on the services of a company that will be in charge of the supply, design, installation, maintenance service and disassembly of materials for the extraordinary lighting in Fiestas de Spring, Murcia and Christmas Fair and Three Wise Men.

The Contracting Board has assessed the offer presented by Elecfes Iluminaciones, which will take over the contract during the next two years, at a cost of € 535,000, excluding VAT.

To install the lighting, the materials used will include the latest technological innovations and certificates of energy consumption, and will be formed by led lamps.

In addition, the structures of the luminous motifs must be of aluminum, to limit their weight and increase their safety.

The service will be provided in Spring Parties, from Saturday April 15 to April 23, 2017;

And from March 31 to April 8, 2018;

At the Feria de Murcia, from 31 August to 11 September 2017, and from 30 August to 10 September 2018;

And in Xmas and Christmas Wreaths 2017-18 and 2018-2019, from the first of December to the 6th of January.

The illumination of the most emblematic streets of the city - Gran Vía, Ceballos, Pintor Villacis, Isidoro de la Cierva, Plaza Cetina, Alejandro Séiquer, Merced, Puerta Nueva, Platería and Trapería - will install an exclusive light model of new creation that does not Has never been exhibited in the national territory.

Likewise, the 27 arches that will decorate the Gran Vía must contain a minimum of 11,000 led lamps for each one.
