New forms of relationship between science and art in the humanities of the 21st century "will be the title of the conference that will be held on Tuesday, February 7 Javier Moscoso, Professor of Research on History and Philosophy of Science at the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC).
It will be in the Aula Antonio Soler, Aulario de La Merced of the University of Murcia, at 18:30 hours.
The conference is part of the Specialist Course in Cultural Management and Economics of Culture.
Since his arrival at the CSIC, Moscoso has headed the HIST-EX research group, which brings together academics, artists and biosanitary personnel interested in the history and philosophy of human experiences and emotions.
Throughout his career, Moscoso has worked in three main areas: the history of life sciences in the eighteenth century, the history of signs and singularities in modern Europe and the history of pain in the West between the centuries XV and XX.
His latest book, "Cultural History of Pain," was published in October 2011.
