The director general of Educational Centers, María Dolores Valcárcel, today inaugurated, together with the Councilor for Education, Relations with Universities and Heritage of the City of Murcia, Rafael Gómez, the ecological school orchard of the school Virgen de la Vega in Cobatillas (Murcia).

The ecological orchard is configured as a pedagogical activity that allows students to be brought closer to their environment, educating in the environmental sensitivity and in the awareness of a reasonable and sustainable use of natural resources.

In turn, promotes healthy eating habits and consumption and favors teamwork and coexistence in classrooms.
