The University of Murcia (UMU) is the technical coordinator of a project (Anastacia) at European level that will develop over the next three years a collection of tools and components that will improve the confidence of ICT systems using safer design principles.
The research of this project is very innovative, as it seeks to integrate new technologies such as SDN / NFV and the Internet of Things to propose safe deployment mechanisms for sensors and gateways in scenarios of intelligent cities, buildings and industry environments 4.0, as well as Advanced computing scenarios through three uses cases.
In addition, a mechanism will be created to ensure that the solutions being developed comply with security and privacy properties.
The 4 million euro Anastacia project, involving partners from Italy, France, Finland, Spain, Ireland, Greece and Switzerland, is coordinated through UMU's Intelligent Systems and Telematics group, which is led by the professor Antonio Skarmeta.
