The Council of Traffic and Public Safety, Lola Sánchez, chaired this morning the Local Security Board attended by representatives of Local Police, Fire, Civil Protection, Civil Guard and National Police and whose objective has been to study the special device of Security of the Holi Run, to guarantee the normal development of the competition and the urban mobility of the rest of the users of the tracks, and of the carnivals of Cabezo de Torres and Beniaján, since they are the ones with the highest concentration of people.
The Holi Run, celebrated on February 19 in Cabezo de Torres, will attract, according to forecasts to more than 10,000 runners.
This Local Security Board has programmed, together with the organizers of the race and the president of the Municipal Board of Cabezo de Torres, a perfectly coordinated device between the different Security Corps.
This will involve 50 Local Police officers, a fire brigade, 35 Civil Protection volunteers, three Red Cross ambulances, National Police officers in the area of ​​the Thader shopping center and a Civil Guard helicopter and a guard.
The event will begin at 10 am and start at C / Progreso (solar behind the sports center of Cabezo de Torres), passing C / Juventud, C / Colegio, Costera Norte, Avenida Glorieta (until Vereda de Fortuna, Of 180º) return by Avda. Glorieta, Costera Norte (until the Road RM-A4, turn of 180º), return by Coastal North to C / Progreso (Meta).
According to forecasts, it will finish at about 15 hours.
Likewise, the needs of the main carnivals of the districts have been studied, where 96 local police officers will be in service in the six parades of Cabezo de Torres and 42 in the three parades of Beniaján.
