The Municipal Board, presided over by Ascensión Noguera, has invested more than one million euros in the last five years to improve Valladolises
The Municipal Board of Valladolises district, presided over by the mayor of the Popular Party Ascension Noguera, has restored the old fountain located at the entrance of the town, named 'Virgen de la Arrixaca'.
This arrangement involves a new installation both internally, with the arrangement of pipes (with improvements in water jets) and interior lighting, as well as externally, already has a colorful design in the tiles, thus giving a modern air to the village .
All this arose by the visit of the Virgin Arrixaca to this district of Murcia, an event proposed by the parish and which supported the Municipal Board unanimously, hence the new name of the source.
This visit commemorated the 75th anniversary of the Virgen de la Candelaria, patroness of the hamlet, so that acts were performed for this day as the installation of a plaque to the Virgin of the Arrixaca in the town square.
With the immediate settlement of this source, the hamlet complements the area of ​​rest and recreation located in this square, continuing with the improvement of the quality of public spaces.
The arrangement and modification of the source has meant an investment of 7,000 euros of the Municipal Board and its purpose is to refresh the area in the hot summer seeking the welfare of the citizens of Valladolises.
The mayor, Ascension Noguera Gil, says that in Valladolises "we work to conserve and maintain our heritage.
We put a lot of effort into looking after our people. "
In addition, adds Ascension, that "the source broke and we took advantage to give it a change.
Here things are done well, we seek excellence because we have a commitment to citizens to improve their quality of life. "
Continuous improvement of spaces
In the last five years, there have been numerous urban works in this hamlet, to continue with the improvement of public spaces.
More than one million euros have been invested.
Among others, there are works such as the creation of more than one kilometer of bicycle lane located in the places that give access to the town.
It also created more than 350 meters of new sidewalks, and improvements of those that already existed.
In addition, more than 3 kilometers of asphalted rural roads were created that connect with the houses farthest from the hamlet.
Likewise, the church environment was adjusted, changing the cobblestones and including new banks.
The mayor has finished saying that from the Municipal Board "every day is worked to reform and improve the hamlet.
We will continue in this line of work to create quality urban spaces in Valladolises ".
