The soprano Ainhoa ​​Arteta dazzled last night in Murcia with an excellent performance for the 20th anniversary of the UCAM.
In the stage of the Auditorium Víctor Villegas was accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of the UCAM and the Discantus Coral interpreting pieces of zarzuela and opera.
The show was directed by José Miguel Pérez Sierra.
The concert began with the theme "I cut no more than a rose of the bunch of roses," by composer Pablo Sorozábal.
During the first part of the show, the audience vibrated with excitement with works such as El Bateo y Agua, Azucarillo y Aguardiente, by composer Federico Chueca, Romanza de Mirentxu by El Caserío by Jesús Guridi.
Also, the second part of the performance counted on stellar subjects like the Revoltosa, of Ruperto Chapí and the Barberillo of Lavapiés, of Asenjo Barbierí.
Finally, the artist sang the piece of opera Vissi d'arte Tosca, by Puccini, with which she took leave of Murcia, a city to which Arteta feels very united, affirmed during the show.
The crowd rose and applauded vehemently at the cry of "brave" for his masterly staging.
The next commemorative concerts will take place on Thursday 26 January in the Auditorium of the Provincial Council of Alicante and 27 in the Palau de les Arts in Valencia, where the 20th anniversary tour of the Murcia institution will end.
