The Councilor for Sports and Health of the City of Murcia, Felipe Coello, and the Councilor for Youth and Development Cooperation, Rebeca Pérez, presented the second edition of the Career Solidaria 'CEI & Save the Children', accompanied by members of the Center of Studies CEI, and the person in charge of Social Mobilization of Save the Children, Juan Guilló Jiménez.
The event, which is organized by the CEI School for the benefit of the child welfare NGO 'Save The Children', will have the participation of approximately 1000 people on Sunday, February 5 at 10:00 am in the Garden of The Malecon.
The event, which consists of two courses one journey of 4.5 km and another of 9 km, is included in the school activity 'Kilómetro Solidario', in which the students make a career and donate a donation unselfishly.
The initiative, which took place last year, was attended by more than 600 people and raised € 3,500 for Save the Children.
The Councilor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, stressed the commitment of the school to "fight for respect for the rights of children anywhere in the world and end poverty, inequality and violence that millions of children live '.
The registration costs 8 euros for adults and 3 euros for children, and will go entirely to the help of the group 'Save the Children'.
There is also the possibility of collaborating with a joint donor of 10 euros.
