The Town Council of El Puntal unanimously approved this week, at the proposal of Salvador Ros, a citizen of El Puntal, to begin the process to request that the Alfatego Mill, located in the hamlet near Juan Carlos I Avenue, be cataloged As a Property of Cultural Interest.
In the next few days, the citizen's pedantic will ask the Ministry of Culture to initiate the procedures to "declare this symbol representative of the Huerta de Murcia as BIC and put it in value before it is too late."
In this sense, Ros has once again expressed his concern about the state of abandonment of the Alfatego Mill, full of cracks and abandoned to its fate for years.
"We hope that the PP shows interest and take measures soon so that the Murcia can see recovered a building so emblematic of our garden."
