The scientist Salvador Martínez explains the advances in the knowledge of the brain (12/01/2017)

The director of the Institute of Neurosciences of Alicante, Salvador Martínez, will offer the lecture of the Seminar of the Rector of the University of Murcia (UMU) to be held on Monday, 23, in the Hemicycle of Letters, La Merced campus.

Martínez, Professor of Anatomy and Embryology at the Miguel Hernández University (Elche), will review the advances of the last decades in brain knowledge, in which the description of the human genome and the development of very sensitive technological instruments have played a decisive role .

During the event, which will start at 7:00 pm and will be directed by the rector of the UMU, José Orihuela, will also be presented the special issue of the centennial magazine of the University of Murcia, CENTUM, dedicated to the Cultural Foundation "Esteban Romero".
