Socialists remember that there is a sentence of the Superior Court of Justice of the Region of Murcia and a socialist motion approved in the July plenary session, urging the City of Murcia to apply 8% of direct management for municipal boards
The Socialist Municipal Group spokesman, José Ignacio Gras, said Wednesday that "in order to negotiate municipal budgets, it is an essential condition to comply with the plenary motions, especially of the one approved in July at the initiative of the PSOE to apply in the Budgets of 2017 8% of direct management by the municipal boards ".
Gras recalled that "there is a sentence of the Superior Court of Justice of the Region of Murcia, in July, which gives the reason for the provincial mayor of Sucina in his complaint for the failure of the PP governments to allocate The lack of compliance with this point is systematic and, therefore, from the Socialist Municipal Group we have taken the issue on several occasions to the Municipal Plenary, achieving the Approval of our initiatives and firmly demanding that 8% be allocated for the direct management of municipal councils in Murcia, "added the mayor.
The socialist spokesman has criticized that the draft Budget facilitated by the Department of Finance, "does not contemplate this 8% and, therefore, again fails to comply with the Rules of Participation and omits a judgment of the High Court of Justice that, although relative to the 2014 budgets, should be adhered to and introduced in all budgets to come. "
Likewise, Gras has criticized that the Draft Budgets is "very generic and not very concrete," as it contains many unpublished items, with large amounts destined to nothing determined in the text.
"We demand a more serious budget, disaggregated, concrete, with names and surnames, knowing where to go the games that are collected and without generalities that can go after one thing or another, without further explanation."
For all this and in order to get a fair budget, which includes funding to meet the plenary agreements, meet 8% for municipal meetings and be concise and clear, the spokesman of the Socialist Municipal Group has directed this Wednesday a letter to the Mayor Ballesta and the Councilor of Finance to demand compliance with all these premises, as a precondition for any negotiation of the Budgets.
