The councilor of the Municipal Socialist Group, Juan Vicente Larrosa, has again denounced Monday "the continued delay in opening the local police headquarters located in La Alberca and whose completion was announced by the PP for 2013, then for 2015 and now for January of this year, without the completion of the works. "
Larrosa, who has visited the building and the surrounding area this Monday accompanied by Socialist Councilor Susana Hernández, has strongly criticized "the lack of interest of the government of Ballesta to start, once and for all, a barracks so necessary to The municipality, especially for the area of El Palmar and La Alberca.
The councilor of the PSOE has verified how the access to the barracks, which should have been ready according to the announcements of the PP government, are still under construction and the environment of the building is not yet conditioned.
"The local police headquarters in La Alberca is not ready, much less, to be operational during the month of January, which was what the councilman of the PP Lola Sanchez told us last October when we demanded its immediate opening ".
"We are tired of empty promises and changing dates." The lack of local police force due to the no-call of places since 2008, joins the need to open this barracks for the south of the municipality, a barracks that should be ready since Years ago and that, to this day, continues in works, although the PP spokeswoman, Rebeca Perez, said in March that, within a period of six months, the barracks would be ready. Approved in July that the barracks opened in January 2017, but it is still not finished.
Larrosa regretted that, finally, "the Socialist Group had to visit the barracks without receiving the permission of the local government because, after numerous requests for visits throughout 2016, the Ballesta government has not responded by facilitating access to the Councilors of the PSOE ".
"We think it's a good idea to create a mobile application for the police, but let's not divert attention from what's really important: we need more troops and it's urgent to provide better infrastructure, such as the La Alberca barracks," he said. Larrosa, who has demanded that the government of Ballesta "put the batteries and finish the barracks as soon as possible without further delay or empty words, and seek an immediate solution to the lack of troops in the municipality."
The socialist councilman also took advantage of the local police to thank the local police for the Christmas holidays, but once again criticized the irresponsible attitude of the Ballesta government by sending many more policemen to the center than to the districts. There have been parties and agglomeration of people ".
